Ti1023(TB6) alloy is a typical near β-type titanium alloy containing stabilizing element AI, 10% homo-crystalline β-stabilizing element V and 2% eutectic β-stabilizing element Fe. The alloy has a series of advantages, such as high specific strength, good fracture toughness, low anisotropy, low forging temperature and high resistance to stress corrosion, which can satisfy the requirements for damage-tolerant design, high structural efficiency, high reliability and low manufacturing cost.
The main semi-finished products of Ti1023(TB6) alloy are bars and forgings, which can also be made into thick plates and profiles. It is mainly used for the manufacture of forged parts in aircraft fuselage, wing and landing gear structures, and is particularly suitable for the manufacture of isothermal or hot die forged parts. Heat treatment allows for fits with different levels of strength and plasticity and toughness, and can be welded using a variety of welding methods.The maximum working temperature of Ti1023(TB6) alloy is 320°C.
