Cold Rolled Titanium Sheets

Cold rolled is made from hot rolled sheet, rolled at room temperature below the recrystallization temperature. Cold rolled titanium sheet is titanium sheet produced by cold rolling process, referred to as cold plate. The thickness of cold rolled plate is generally between 0.18-3.0mm, most factories produce cold rolled steel plate thickness of 4.5mm or less, the thickness and width of cold rolled plate is based on the equipment capacity of each factory and market demand. The thickness and width of cold rolled titanium plates are based on the equipment capacity of each plant and market demand. Generally, the width of cold rolled titanium sheets and strips is 1000 mm or 1200 mm.

Cold rolling is the process of further thinning titanium sheet to a target thickness below the recrystallization temperature at room temperature. Compared to hot rolled titanium sheet, cold rolled titanium sheet has a more precise thickness and a smooth, attractive surface.

Characteristics Of Cold Rolled Titanium Sheet

Since the production process is not heated, there are no defects such as pockmarks and oxidized iron skin, which often appear in hot rolling, and the surface quality is good and the finish is high. Moreover, the dimensional accuracy of the cold rolled products is high, and the performance and organization of the products can meet some special requirements for use, such as electromagnetic properties and deep drawing properties.
