Ti-5Al-2.5Sn is a medium strength alloy with an oxidation resistance up to 1200° Fahrenheit and creep resistance up to 800° Fahrenheit. Typically found in sheet form, this alloy is ideal for applications requiring high tensile strength and resistance to corrosive environments. Ti-5Al-2.5Sn has good microstructure but is not heat treatable. Titanium grade 6 also has excellent weldability and fabricability.
