Specification :

Surface quality:

(1) The surface of the strip shall be smooth, clean, and free from wind layer, cracks, bubbles, spurs, indentations, and inclusions;

(2) Slight localized defects such as scratches, spots, pits, indentations and roll marks that do not cause the thickness of the strip to exceed its permissible deviation are permitted, and slight oxidized color, darkening and slight localized oil stains are not to be used as a basis for scrapping;

(3) Both sides of the strip shall be cut flush, free of burrs, split edges and rolled edges.

(4) The strip shall be straight, but slight waves are allowed; the side curvature of the strip shall not be more than 3 mm per meter.
