Gr9 Titanium Sheet

 

 

GR9: Nominal composition Ti-3Al-2.5V Commonly known as half-Gr5 alloy GR9 titanium alloy tube Tensile strength is generally around 600MPa. It is a medium strength titanium alloy tube. Higher strength than pure titanium tubes and lower price than Gr5 titanium alloy tubes. The performance of titanium and the impurity content of carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, and oxygen contained, with the cleanest titanium iodide impurity content of no more than 0.1%, make titanium alloy tubes a new metal, but their strength is low and their plasticity is high. Density = 4.5g/cm3, melting point = 1725 °C, thermal conductivity = 15.24W/(m.K), tensile strength = 539 MPa, and elongation = 25% are the properties of 99.5% industrially pure titanium.

 

GR9 titanium sheet will not fracture, will not rust, and will not corrode in any atmospheric environment. It is so resistant to corrosion that it does not even require any painting, we just lightly rub the surface to brighten its natural colour.

 

GR9 titanium sheet is suitable for aircraft and engine hydraulic and fuel piping systems, and has been used in a variety of military and civilian aircraft and aerospace applications, making Grr9 titanium sheet the ideal material for making high-pressure resistant lightweight ducts for aircraft with excellent overall performance.

Phase change point: 925°C.
